La Stampa, as other newspapers, reproduced on 19 September 1938 the ‘historical speech’ of Mussolini in front of crowds in Trieste. In the paragraph ‘racist action’, among other things, the following statement by Mussolini was reported: ‘For sixteen years, despite our policy, global Judaism has been an irreconcilable enemy of Fascism’.
